With the high cost of shipping many of our customers choose to ship by USPS. For small and light shipments this is usually less expensive, but please be aware that their estimates are often wrong. The service is not always as economical as it may appear, particularly on larger or more valuable shipments. USPS estimates only include insurance up to $100 for its domestic shipments, and varying amounts for overseas shipments. Born on August 19, 1952 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Blanchard was the son of the late Haitian artist Sisson Blanchard who worked as a yard-boy at the Centre d'Art in Port-au-Prince. His father encouraged him to paint and helped him develop his own unique style (very different from his father's). Like his father, Smith Blanchard's paintings are rare and very hard to come by.
