The traditional but constantly evolving art of the Mexican minature. Small Nichos or dioramas and free-standing sculptures, many of the miniaturas depict calaveras or skeletons for the Dias de los Muertos (Days of the Dead) holidays, but they satirize many other aspects of modern Mexican life as well.
