I will be out of the country for about six weeks, from May 1st to June 17th, and so will not be shipping orders or open for visitors at the gallery after April 27. The Indigo Arts website will be active as always. Because I will be traveling in a remote area I will not have email or phone access for most of the time. Daudi Tingatinga, Edward Tingatinga’s only son, was also a painter. Born in 1966, he was an infant when his father died, but he grew up in the world of Tingatinga painters. He adopted the style of his father, competently and quite literally, and did not venture far from that subject matter. He passed away on May 12, 2015, at the age of 49.
