About the Artist
We don't have much information about this fascinating collection of vintage Nigerian silk-screened workplace safety posters. They were collected by an American who worked in Nigeria in the 1960's and have been in storage for the last fifty years. All of them were silk-screen printed by the Federal Ministry of Information and issued by the Federal Ministry of Labour. They are signed by a number of different artists, including L. A. Ogunade, Eben. Alder, S. A. Jinadu and J. Owei.
