With the high cost of shipping many of our customers choose to ship by USPS. For small and light shipments this is usually less expensive, but please be aware that their estimates are often wrong. The service is not always as economical as it may appear, particularly on larger or more valuable shipments. USPS estimates only include insurance up to $100 for its domestic shipments, and varying amounts for overseas shipments. A legendary sign painter from the Mossi people, Rasmané was born in 1946 in the town of Sapomé, 140 km from Ouagadougou, capital of Burkina Faso (then Upper Volta). He sometimes used the initails NRD, for his family name, Nikéma, his name Rasmané, followed by his profession, "Dessinateur". During his painting career he produced work in Togo and the Ivory Coast as well as Burkina Faso.
