The late Cõte d'Ivoire artist Frédéric Bruly Bouabré is featured in a solo show at the Museum of Modern Art: Frédéric Bruly Bouabré: World Unbound. Read the review by Jason Farago in the New York Times: The African Artist-Writer Who Mapped New Worlds: "In 1948, Frédéric Bruly Bouabré had a vision that led him to invent a new writing system. The Museum of Modern Art explores his more than 1,000 drawings."
The show runs at MOMA through August 13, 2022.
