Wesner Pierre-Louis born 1949 in Port-au-Prince.  After attending Sacre-Coeur and Petion High School, he studied painting by correspondence and in 1960 began to paint under the direction of Nehemy Jean.  He has been exhibited locally.  In 1970 he changed his style from primitive to impressionistic after the school of Obas.
