I will be out of the country for about six weeks, from May 1st to June 17th, and so will not be shipping orders or open for visitors at the gallery. The Indigo Arts website will be active as always. Because I will be traveling in a remote area I will not have email or phone access for most of the time. I will respond to messages as soon as possible. Biography - The guiding spirit of the Oaxaca School was Rodolfo Morales, born in 1925 in the dusty village of Ocotlan. A solitary child, he became a keen observer of the world around him, and early discovered his ability to draw. His parents sent him to study at the Academia de San Carlos in Mexico City . Upon receiving his degree he began a career of teaching art at the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria in Mexico City.
