I will be out of the country for about six weeks, from May 1st to June 17th, and so will not be shipping orders or open for visitors at the gallery. The Indigo Arts website will be active as always. Because I will be traveling in a very remote area I will not have email access for most of the time. I will respond to emails as soon as possible. Born - 1963
Biography - Llopiz is a member of El Grupo Bayate, the collective of self-taught artists in the village of Mella, an hour outside of Santiago de Cuba, in eastern Cuba. He has exhibited his work in numerous exhibits of the grupo Bayate artists, both in Cuba and the United States. His work was included in the Por Un Mundo Mejor / For a Better World exhibition at Indigo Arts Gallery in October and November 2002. When not painting, Llopiz works as a policeman.
