For the last six years we have offered papier maché bird and fish ornaments and sculptures made by the children in Jacmel's inspiring Art Creation Foundation for Children.
I am sad to report that Indigo co-founder and my former wife Deborah Cholet passed away on Thursday, October 15th, 2015. Deb (Devi) was an artist, designer, and a jeweler. She was a collector of art, cats and birds, and a bright shining spirit.

I just returned from a twelve day visit to Haiti. I was there with about two dozen other Haitian art collectors, gallery owners and museum curators for the 2014 conference of the Haitian Art Society. It was actually less a conference than a whirlwind tour of galleries, markets, artists' studios, private collections, cultural institutions and the one museum still functioning in Port-au-Prince - with a very congenial group and some excellent meals along the way.
